My name is Rita Benavidez, I come from a huge mix of back grounds including Irish, Scottish, Spanish, Mexican, and native American (Apache, Cherokee, Seminole). I have four older brothers who think they are "tough" guys. My parents are stressed out folks just trying to get everything in line before they kick the bucket, which is funny because neither of them is very old or reckless. Better safe than sorry I guess. And me, I'm the first person in my family to actually stick with college, but it's hard because I just want to travel around the world. I am an adrenaline junkie and love to just be outside staying busy. I want to be a certified diver and make a career out of being in the ocean, no sitting at a desk for me.
In Liby, I hope to learn some organizing skills, since I'm always all over the place, my thoughts and materials are likewise. The best thing you can do for me is e patient, clear and concise. I look forward to working with you!

Hi Rita.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting your CrossFit level one. I'd like to hear more about that. I googled crossfit and it looks far more hardcore & difficult than my occasional jaunts to 24 hour fitness!
I hope this class helps with your info organizing skills, and preps you to do research in Marine Science. For our part, we have tried to design the course with clear instructions & deadlines to keep the confusion to a minimum. Do check the discussion board and get in touch if you have questions.
Welcome to class,
Korey
